Re: The Re-Development of Pairc Ui Chaoimh

I remember looking at that pitch the first night PUC opened and I wasn't one bit impressed with it.
All the guff beforehand said it would be like a pool table but it was very ordinary. Not really a surprise it has caused problems.

Re: Cork u20 football 2019

Possibly a landmark game changing win. Lets push on now I hate to be a negative bastard but didn't we say the same thing about the hammering we gave them in 2011 at U-21? What's happened at senior level since? No senior All-Ireland's for Cork and not many wins over Kerry at that grade either. Wins ...

Re: Cork Hurlers 2019

Cork have won 2 Senior All Irelands this century. One minor and no u21. Abysmal This is true. We call ourselves a hurling stronghold yet the facts prove otherwise: No senior hurling All-Ireland in 14 years No U-21 (or u-20 as it is called now) All-Ireland in 21 years No minor All-Ireland in 18 year...

Re: Cork Footballers 2019

Great win last night but hard to see anything other than a Dublin Saint-Germain win next Saturday.

Happened while he was making hurleys using a band saw.
A bit off-topic I know but why is he doing such a dangerous activity on a weekend? Does he need the money? I thought he had a good job in Bank of Ireland?

Re: Cork Hurlers 2019

Sorry to be a part-time supporter lads but I'll be using the opt-out option on the season ticket for this one.
See ye all in Thurles the week after.

Re: Cork Hurlers 2019

We will have to play three weekends in a row to reach the All-Ireland final. More if there are replays.
I know Limerick did it last year but the age profile of our team is a bit older.

Re: Cork Hurlers 2019

Going by last year it seems we will play Laois/Westmeath on the weekend 6/7 July. Then the All-Ireland quarter-final the weekend after. Could get Kilkenny or Wexford in that.
Other possible opponents; I don't know.

Re: Cork Footballers 2019

If ye get a chance read the preview of the Munster final in the Sunday Times today. It's very funny (unintentionally).
Made it sound like we only have to turn up to win next Saturday evening.

Re: Cork Hurlers 2019

Ennis really is a jinxed venue for Cork. I hate going there.
Today didn't make me like it much more.
