Everyone saying this is a critical and 'must win' game for Cork, understandably so. Why is it a must win? We've gotten a fair few from this squad already for senior, and we'll get a few more regardless of the result on Sunday. An All-Ireland final is not a must win :? Winning is what its all about ...

Big day tomorrow for our underage hurlers in underage competitions/blitzes all over Munster, should be interesting to see how they get on, especially the u16's in the Eugene Carey in Mallow and the new U14's in the Tony Forrestal, we'll see what standard we're at. Don't think the u15s did much last...

See Bride Rovers win 2 County Hurling Titles in 3 days U-16A. and Minor A. I believe their U -16 team consisted of 9 U-16. 2 U -15 2 U-14 and 2 U-13. And their minors with only 1 on the age. Well done good to see a club with small numbers winning Counties. Good work been done down there it seems. ....

Cooper will play his usual role of connecting the half-back line with the lads in front of him. It doesn't matter the slightest where he is named.

Evidently McDonnell and Burke are gone as well next year. So that's four done when you throw in the other two Midleton lads. Colm O'Driscoll and Eoin Cadogan evidently are 'in'.

Sam Quirke who was in the middle of the field for Midleton was simply outstanding and there is no doubt that shifting him as a sweeper was the losing of the match.
