Re: Cork U21 Hurling 2018

Dennis Ring continues his reign in Cork underage hurling. Whoever has allowed that man to continuously take charge of Cork hurling teams year after year should be fucking shot. He has taken potential teams year on year and driven them into the ground. Today was like watching the minor final from la...

Re: Cork Hurlers 2018

Anyone who calls our hurlers 'bottlers' should be taken down Carey's Lane on a dark night and shown what bottle's really feel like. I'm so proud of this team, what great days ,great scores, great effort they've given over the season. Yesterday was tough day for a lot of us,but hopefully we've learned...

Re: Cork Footballers 2018

Kevin O'Donovan wrote a 20 point plan last year about issues in Cork GAA. I wrote a 20 page critique of those points - not a criticism but a critique - and sent them to him. I am no expert but the opinions of one person, regardless of how senior they are, are not going to change Cork GAA unless ther...

Re: Cork Footballers 2018

as for next year - Kildare, Donegal, Meath, Tipp, Clare, Fermanagh and Armagh in our league group - what chances we collect enough points from that to stay in division 2, not to mind say get promoted?. At this moment in time, if that league started now, we would probably finish bottom.. Meath and T...

Re: Cork Footballers 2018

We need to: (1) do a Fermanagh on it (2003) and drop every player and restart the panel from scratch (2) do it immediately and plan to peak next year in February so we get the f**k out of Division 2..can't prepare for games against Kerry /Tyrone when you struggle against Louth and Clare (3) from now...

Re: Cork Footballers 2018

Had the most vivid dream about the match. I had a dream (to be read in the voice of Martin Luther king), that cork led 2-6 to 0-6 at half time. Each Hurley with a goal. Cork got first two points of second half, but Tyrone got on top and cork didn't score again. Tyrone won 2-8 to 15 points. Never dr...

Re: Cork Hurlers 2018

Seán Ó Donoghue acted with zero integrity. What does a 'strike' mean? Because if you look at it with unbiased eyes, Seán Ó Donoghue also struck Gillane. He got booked for that in fact. Only one player threw himself on the ground in a heap, however. And quickly got up after all the 'emergency' attent...

Re: Cork Hurlers 2018

Seán Ó Donoghue cheated. He got a Limerick player sent off for nothing more than jostling. He should be deeply ashamed of himself. A cowardly act.

Re: Cork Hurlers 2018

Cork's backs were very good in the first half. I think that laid the basis for the victory. I think Clare tried to kill us off in the first half. They kept trying to open us up for goals when points seemed to be the smarter option. Cork withstood what they threw at them and they managed to be ahead ...

Re: Cork Minor Footballers 2018

The bigger challenge for Cork starts today. How do we ensure that these lads are kept on the radar? In the absence of a Director of Football, who is mentoring them, minding them, communicating with them so that they resurface successfully at Under-20 level? Last night those Cork lads were the equal ...
