Re: Cork Senior Hurling 2020

That team will hardly start?. Great to see Spillane back. Hope C'O Leary can cement a place on the team.

Re: Senior Hurling Club Championships 2019

Only a few days to the match, what can we expect, there's a fair bit of water fell but forecast is mostly ok in the lead up to Sunday. Imokilly 1/5, Glen 4/1, Draw 11/1 in Paddy Powers, that's very strong favouritism Hard to see past Imokilly. Even though the Glen might put it upto them, imokilly h...

Re: Recommendations for Cork Hurling Management positions announced

We have proven All-Ireland winners running the line in 2020 - Sully, Cunningham, Ryan, Donal Og, Sean Og, Kenny, + + Some change around from serial losers Proven all Ireland winners as players. Not to take a way from their achievements but great players don't always make great managers/coaches. Bar...

Re: Recommendations for Cork Hurling Management positions announced

I've mixed feelings re the appointments in general. Kind of back to the future feel with the senior team. I'm not sure what Sullivan has to offer that would make improvements to the team. The u20s seems good and a lot stronger than the last two years. Re the minor, i feel the CCB might be trying to ...

Re: Other GAA

Good stuff there Northcork, but can't agree totally. You can take my word for it, that Kerry have 'unlimited' funds available and pretty much always had that facility. When they were winning their 4 in a row followed by 3 in a row we didn't hear anybody saying this was bad for football. We were sub...

Re: High Performance Manager

Not a rugby fan so I don't know much about his credentials, but will he now have a say in selecting the new manager?

Re: Cork U20 Hurling 2019

He also mentions that Cork should should look for an outside manager. At this point I'd let the Queen of England manage the team if it delivered an All Ireland. Re the match. It was such a disappointing end to a disappointing year for Cork hurling. I felt for the players, they were so rattled in the...

Re: Cork U20 Hurling 2019

Every interview if seen/read of Ring he's been building up Tipp saying how good they are at getting goals.... Did he not try and think of stopping em instead of praising em? Game over before half time. Players, once again, playing as individuals. No fluency in the forwards and backs are very nervous...

Re: Cork U20 Hurling 2019

Cork hurling has left us fans so disappointed in the last few decade I've learned not to build my hopes up. The young rebels are more than capable of winning but we are too used to seeing Cork teams fall flat. I won't be going to the bookies but still going to Limerick in hope more than expectation....
