Kennedy's reign is off to a terrible start, publically siding with Frank Murphy on a dictatorial anti-democratic knockdown. Poor judgement.

It's like a report of a parish meeting in in the 50's. People with small minds making sure that the strangers with their new fangled ideas don't corrupt the one true way of doing things. No surprise there though. Why would you vote for accountability if you didn't have to if you've had decades of getting away with doing whatever you want? Because it's the right thing to do? This is Ireland. It's disgraceful but depressingly predictable.
