What do you want him to do Ranty? Giving ten years of his life to Cork football wasn't enough?

I hope he takes up a position in his club now and influence other ex players to do the same.
The lack of new blood at the top table of Cork GAA seems to be the reason for our antiquated way of doing things.
I don't think there's a long queue of interested young people lining up to take a hand.
Too many other sports in this big county for gaelic football with all it's flaws and unenforceable rules
to grab the interest of people that could change the mindset.
It's a pity that Paddy Kelly didn't highlight other negatives rather than aiming all the shots at the top table.
I wish him well in his retirement but hope he doesn't disappear off into the sunset now that he has opened this
can of worms.

Shoot the messenger why don't you!

All I'm saying is I'd like to see him and other ex players to take a hand in running the show. We thank him for his years in the
jersey but now he seems to be interested in further involvement .
He wouldn't have given that interview if he wanted to walk away from it all, IMHO.
I don't understand 'dowcha's comment about shooting the messenger.

Ger Lane came out with the expected response to Paddy Kelly's claims, basically denying all this stuff about the gym.

Nash says expectations on Leeside among the hurling supporters haven’t wavered, a motivating factor for Kingston and his charges.

“They are hungry for hurling and they want success. They demand it which is great."

Some interesting views for and against the proposed gaa Congress proposals were aired last night at CCB meeting.
Can someone put up the examiner link?
