Is this spaff?

Personally I always assumed once the stadium was built he'd step sideways into stadium manager but it seems that wasn't his plan at all.

Do we honestly think Frank will cut all ties? They'll find something for him to do and if they won't, he will. He's a lifer.
Also, I'm sure they have their own man lined up. And why contacting the clubs 5 days before the next meeting?
The next meeting is Tue Oct 10th. So club's will have to meet on a Monday to discuss, or over the weekend which doesnt happen.
Did Frank actually say he was stepping down? I can't see that anywhere. Nothing on cork gaa website about it

Absolutely going nowhere, just 'moving upstairs', with his finger still on the button.
Diarmuid O'Donovan is being groomed as his successor for the last few years.
Dictatorship reign will continue.

They'll never give a callow youth like O'Donovan his head - the county board are suspicious of new ideas - he can't even be 60 yet!

There's something odd about the reporting of what happened last night. Did Frank say HIMSELF that he's retiring as Runai of Cork Co Board in November 2017?
Unless he did, I'm not believing it. Club's could then nominate him in this magical 5 days before the meeting which itself is a joke. One of the most important positions up for grabs in our gaa countys history and Lane gives club's 5 days, 3 of which are in a weekend. 2 weeks would be recommended. Surely to god it's somewhere in the bye laws?
