Went to see Canovee v Kilmurry last night. Arrived just in time to see Canovee’s goal to put them 1.2 to no score up. Looked the better team throughout. Some really good footballers on show. Kilmurry could have snatched it at the end when got a good goal at the end but Canovee just went up the other to score a fabulous goal. Had a feeling they could turn over Kilmurry beforehand. Going very well in the league and surely between them, Iveleary and Ballincollig now.

B’collig very strong at present and probably won’t play senior for a while yet. Fancy whichever teams to come out of Muskerry to have a big say in the county.

Did Canovee use young Kelliher the Cork minor? He looked talented when he came on in Tralee v Kerry.

Don’t think so but couldn’t be 100%. Definitely used 3 or 4 subs though. Wouldn’t like to be meeting Kilmurry in Junior B now. Should be seriously strong

Cullen and Dromtariffe championship game scheduled for tonight cancelled 9 hours before throw in because Conor O’Callaghan has been drafted into the u21 panel. Very unfair and 40 odd clubs players affected for a sub on the u21 team. Crazy decision

Big win for Inniscarra as well last night. 3.15 to 3.5. A lot to ask a lad that played inter county championship on Sunday to play club championship on Tuesday night presuming Sean O’Donoghue played. Kilmicheal seem to be really poor this year. Well beaten by Aghinagh as well and they got well beaten themselves afterwards.

Ballincollig made light work of Donoughmore last night on a very one sided game and no wonder, half the team could go on to play senior yet. Looks like Iveleary will be up against it in a semi final as it’s looks certain to go ahead before Ballincollig play again.

Iveleary v Canovee today in the Mid Cork final. Should be a good game. Iveleary beat a very fancied Ballincollig while Canovee seemed to struggle against Inniscarra who had an injured Sean O'Donoughue playing I'm told. They're hard to break down but have to fancy Iveleary today, both can go far in the County championship

Iveleary won that 1-9 to 1-6. Replays needed in both Duhallow and and the West, with the two favourites coming back from losing positions late on.

Boherbue 2-14 Dromtarriffe 2-14 (Replay - Tomorrow @ 8pm, Ballydesmond)
Kilmacabea 0-12 Tadhg MacCarthaigh 2-06 (Replay - Next Sat @ 6pm, Drimoleague)

As it stands at the moment in football
Imokilly winners v Urhan
Duhallow winners v Canovee
Uibh Laoire v Buttevant
Seandun winners v Carbery runners up
Carrigdhoun winners v Seandun runners up
Carbery winners v Imokilly runners up
Garnish v Carrigdhoun runners up
Charleville v Duhallow runners up

Went to see Uibh Laoire v Canovee last night. Poor night for football and Kilmurry is a poor place to watch a match. Uibh Laoire were well worth their victory, Vaughan kicked some great scores. They lost Sean Lehane early to injury but replaced him with Sean O'Leary who was a Cork minor. In fairness to Canovee they kept Chris Óg Jones fairly quiet but didn't have enough fire power up front.

Charleville put up a big score beating Buttevant. Big shock there. Wasn't there talk of Buttevant being senior in 5 or 6 years?
