To think that there is one or two over on Proc giving out about him, in particular blaming him for last Sunday and the pitch in the Páirc v Wexford ffs

Just goes to show you how much power Frank had. Everyone wanted this but it took his retirement for this to come on. 5 minutes later, it's in.
Anyway, onwards and upwards. Plenty of games in March/April, read through them earlier

Alan Cadogan replaces Jack O 'Connor, while Seán O Donoghue takes Connor Calahanes place on the bench.

The good thing here is all ten subs could easily have started and there wouldn't be much complaining from ourselves. A good sign that the panel is getting stronger. And that's not including players yet to come back, Spillane, Dalton, C Calahane, Fitzgibbon, Ellis etc.

The speed amongst the subs should frighten any team. O'connor, Kingston, O'Flynn could really give a tired defender the run around. Kearny, Meade, Coleman cloud slot in seamlessly around the middle.
The defenders on the bench are a little bit inexperienced but you have to start somewhere and with the likes of E Cadogan, Calahane etc around you they should be hurling with no fear.

Myler had done a good job here. Compared to when he turned around in thee semi v limerick and realised his bench wasn't strong enough. Its up to the players now to show him they can perform.

I still would have liked to have seen one of the O'Learys somewhere on the panel. Joyce must be washing the no
5 Jersey at home at this stage! You would be worried that Joyce and Cadogan on the wings might be caught for pace.

According to Shane Brophy of the Nenagh Guardian on Twitter , there is a pitch inspection at 10am with Semple on standby if needed.
