Munster GAA has confirmed fixture details for its upcoming provincial inter-county season, with the senior hurling championship games to be played in neutral venues.

Clare and Limerick's Munster senior hurling quarter-final will go ahead at Semple Stadium on Sunday, 25 October at 3.45pm before Cork and Waterford face each other in a semi-final at the same venue the following Saturday in a 3.30pm throw-in.

The winner of Clare and Limerick's match will go on to face Tipperary at the LIT Gaelic Grounds or Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday, 1 November.

The final will then take place on Sunday 15 November at 4pm.

The senior football championship will retain its home and away format however, as will the under-20 hurling and minor football competitions.

Cork v Waterford - Semple Stadium Thurles, Saturday 31 October at 3.30pm

Munster Final, Sunday, 15 November at 4pm

Limerick v Waterford - Fraher Field Dungarvan, Saturday 31 October at 7pm

Clare v Tipperary - Semple Stadium Thurles, Sunday 1 November at 1pm

Limerick or Waterford v Clare or Tipperary - Fraher Field Dungarvan, LIT Gaelic Grounds or Cusack Park Ennis, Saturday 7 November at 1.15pm

Cork v Kerry - Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Sunday 8 November at 4pm

Munster Final, Sunday 22 November at 1.30pm

Cork played Clare today. Clare won easily enough. They seemed to have a full team. Cork missing a good few regulars. Jack O Connor did very well, either 1-4 or 2-4 from play

I'm wrong about the last post Cork won 4-30 to 1-24.Jack O Connor got 2-4 from play

great that they're looking at a few new names anyway. Alan Cadogan at centre forward is an interesting one.
