To be honest, id forgotten about Lower Intermediate. Theres 3 grades at Intermediate, that's a lot

In their Intermediate A game with Cloughduv, Midleton had a player sent off just before the final water break (the second time this happened in two games). Unlike the Glen Rovers game, though, Midleton failed to score thereafter. They were three points up at the time.

So according to our esteemed GAA-loving leaders / politicians:
- drinking to your hearts' content in a crowded pub that sells pizzas
is now considered safer than sitting / standing sober in an empty stadium

This is where the long-standing illusion that soccer is the most popular sport in Ireland falls apart. It is the GAA which will be most affected by this ruling.

I would have no problem with playing matches behind closed doors for the moment, if they made some effort to sort out the house parties and night club frolics. All will be for nothing unless they sort out those yobs. I thought there was going to be fines of €2,500 and six months in jail for this sort of reckless carry-on. Was the government only bluffing and has their bluff being called?

By the middle of next year, hopefully, and certainly by the end of that year, most people will have been vaccinated and sporting life can start to return to normal.

SFC: UCC 0-16 Carbery 0-11. Healthy enough Cork contingent in the UCC team, three from Kerry, two from Meath & one Limerick https://twitter.com/Denis_Hurley/status ... 41/photo/2 Brian O'Driscoll got the sent off Carbery as well.

Duhallow given a walkover by Beara also, Beara's twitter saying they had too many injuries to fulfill the fixture. Duhallow v UCC this weekend.
