Congratulations to Cork on regaining the Munster title with a good win over Kerry. Saorise Noonan scores 2-2 on her championship debut.

All-Ireland ladies football final 2018

Dublin 3-11; Cork 1-12

Conceding one goal is manageable. Conceding two goals makes the job difficult. Conceding three goals makes it almost impossible.

If ever goals won a game, it was this one. Every time Cork drew near, Dublin were able to score a goal to put a comfortable cushion between the teams again, much as Cork used to do over the last ten seasons. It was frustrating, but Cork are now a team in transition and a new team must be built.

Congratulations to Mourneabbey on winning the Senior All-Ireland Ladies Club Football Championship.
I only saw the first half, but they were well in command at that stage and leading by 9 points at half time.

According to the report from the 42 (below), Foxrock outscored them in the second half, (4 points to 1) but not by near enough to make any difference.
