Tough on him, no doubt, but at least he has an All-Ireland medal. Many fine hurlers - even in Cork -will never have that.

I've always found the feature "Hurling Hands" interesting, but i haven't seen it now for some time since they seem to have changed the day in which it appears.

While reading one of Tipp-Es's links for today's paper, I found this one on Anthony Nash.

The Clare County Board takes legal action over some internet posting. Davy and his father have come in for some heavy criticism 0ver the years. According to ClareHurlers.com, though, this seems to something to do with a Facebook page.

I don't know the man or the sky over his head, but he has turned into a very divisive figure in Clare GAA over the last number of years. It's yet another example in my opinion of these jobs for life in the GAA which seem to do more damage than good to the relevant counties. They really should look at the length of terms these posts have. It can't be good for the mental health of anyone involved, the individual or his family. This issue with Pat Fitzgerald hasn't been going on today nor yesterday either.

I just cannot understand the love for the dubs on this forum. I presume it is because they are stopping the animals winning AI's. Sorry but that is not a good enough reason for me. I detest both of them in equal measure.

Fairly despicable in an amateur game.
