Ridiculous stuff! In the Munster Club championship, Ballyyea and Ballygunner finished level, 2-19 each. After extra time they were still level at 2-23 each, so more extra time was played, five minutes each half. Ballygunner won by 2-26 to 2-23.

Most unfair to both teams. There should have been a replay. Fergal Hartley didn't look too pleased about it.

Unbelievable game. And yet the reward is to play Na Piarsaigh in the final

Probably the lesser of two evils for Ballygunner. They have a fortnight now to prepare for the final instead of playing four weekends in a row.

But 'extra' extra time is taking the p!ss a bit I agree.

Cork's new "home" jersey. I presume the "away" jersey will just be reversed colours as usual.

Well, I suppose there should be, if they're trying to sell the things. €70 on the O'Neills site.

I was hoping they would do it, but thought it was a bridge too far for them. Delighted they did it.

How far behind Ballygunner are our top clubs i.e. Sars, Midleton, Glen, Douglas ( if the were small ball focussed ), Rockies, etc.,
I'd suggest not too far at all.,
Thats why I think currently Imokilly are having a negative impact on our CLUB Senior Hurling Championship

I picked this up on Premier View. Apparently the Powers-That-Be are thinking of changing the hurling league and more or less making 1A and 1B equal.
