They have since been thrown out of the championship, along with two other teams.

Ranty and Podsy, good stuff as always. The one thing i'd add is that it's easier to defend from the front when you have a strong relationship of trust built up with those beside and behind you. Dublin don't switch out Cluxton ten minutes before a match and don't swap their defence around every second game either!

Anyway, the powers that be seem to have it all under control once they get the clubs to sign off on the system for recommending the chosen one or choosing the recommended one or however it is these things work.

Accept that completely, and agree.

That game was the last big game we were involved in Colm O Neill and Ciaran Sheehan scored 1-7 from play between them in that match and that was Donegals year they were at the peak of there powers that year ..I always felt it was a great pity we neaver got to see O Neill , Sheehan and Brian Hurley play in the same forward line ....and that day we had subs like Conor O Driscoll, James Fitzpatrick, Sean Kiely, Denis O Sullivan we did they all go some of these players have All-Ireland senior and u21 medals and are still only 27 -29 years of age the Kerrys and Dublins have players on that age who play at there peak ...we get rid of them .

Good honest post. By the way why "God forbid Cavan"?[/quote]

I don't like going to Cavan for games. Kingspan Breffni Park is in a hole and one of the coldest places I've been. No nets behind the goals either annoys me. Clones in Monaghan is the same (re nets). Very hard to get out of Kingspan Breffni Park too but you can say that about a lot of GAA grounds North and South!

Fantastic idea and shows the stupidity of the CB for refusing to set up a supporters club, does anyone know who is involved?

Very welcome development and fair play to whoever is behind organising it.
