Well done to Imokilly, it obsiously means a lot to them, they were the better team in the first half but Blackrock plugged away and could have snuck it, Imokilly had more pure hurlers but the Rockies had pure heart, physical strenght and some players throughout the field who were able to do that rarest of Cork things - catch a big high ball over their head. They gave it everything but it wasnt to be

It's disappointing that no game with a Cork club involved was shown on TV this year by tg4. I suppose it's a testament too the standard they must think of Cork club hurling.

Ballyhea didn't win a ch/ship this year either. I thought the losers of the relegation semis Ballyhea and Youghal would playoff to see if Youghal are officially the worst team in the county again?
