Happy Christmas!

Postby Podsy » Fri Dec 23, 2016 10:29 pm

Season's greetings to you all, best of luck to your clubs when they're not playing mine, and Glory and Honour to the Blood and Bandage.

I haven't had as much time as I've liked to post on this forum of late but my New Year's resolution is to try harder. Thanks to all of you who keep it going.

Many happy returns to all, we've had our disagreements but as CHL correctly pointed out, that's what makes this place what it is
My wish is for a doubling of members, a hark back to the days of Rebelgaa.
And finally a return to winning ways for Cork gaa. That's what we all have in common.

I don't think I would want to have The Blood and Bandage anything like Rebel GAA. I had a couple of bad experiences with it. I gave opinions of the strike which weren't popular and one day I received a PM from one of the moderators saying I had contravened the rules by having links to objectionable sites in my account. I had a website at the time on a New Zealand provider named Anzwers. Someone had gone in and removed the "s" from the end of the name and it now pointed to a portal for sex-related matter. Of course, it could have been a hacker, but I suspected a moderator. I complained to the owner and he said he'd look it up, but I heard nothing more. I'm glad the place is dead and buried. This place is a good deal more civilised - at the moment.
