St Catherines v Tracton
Dromina v Kilmichael
Banteer v Brian Dillons
Cloughduv v Kilbrin
Nemo Rangers v Ballinascarty
Valley Rovers v Russell Rovers
Clonakilty v Ballyhooly

The first round of the county in hurling. Banteer v Dillon's is on Friday, the rest on Saturday with only Cloughduv v Kilbrin on Friday week. You'd imagine Catherine's and Russell Rovers to come through but after that it's hard to call, maybe Dromina too.

Hurling final will have a repeat of the east Cork final and we could have a repeat of the city final in the other semi. Frank's experiment justified.

It is indeed justified. Premier junior championship is badly needed. We will have it soon.

Erins Own beat Kilmurry by one point. A club that gives its heart and soul to football, a club with a premier under 21 side, with county minor players beaten by a club who were playing these games merely to fulfill fixtures upto about a week and half ago. Still no rules broken and Erins Own have been here before:winning in 2004. Cloyne did something very similar in 2010.

Kilmurry were outmuscled and out thought apparently. They just couldn't get the ball up the field. When you outline it like that above Spongebob, it's a bad indictment of Kilmurry. Erins Own won't get much of a break as they are playing Kilmacabea tomorrow. It's surely Knocknagree's who are in the final, to lose now.
