Lehane is also good at sideline cuts, although he seldom takes them. His height and length is good, although he's never put them over the bar.

The last time we were in a Munster u-21 hurling final, we also played Limerick - and they beat us!

Well i have to say having watched the game last night on a recording, i thnk we have seen the emergence of a possible star, another mushroom if you will.
I dont think ive seen a sweeter striker of a dead ball (or in play) than Dalton, absolute poetry in motion. Reminds me of John Fenton in many ways. And is not afraid to put the paw up for a puckout. Fellas rightly saying hes maybe a bit slow for outfield IC but id certainly be looking at him in the preseason/league next year. I remember seeing him at u15 Tournament and he played 2 games in goal and 1 out the field taking the frees, i remember posting it on the old Rebel GAA. For me, an exciting player even if its only frees.

Big loss. He played very well v waterford and looked like he could make the step up to senior. Limerick game looks a lot tougher now. Are they going to appeal Firzgibbon's red card?

Looks like it, Matty. And the news on Hennessy and Meade looks a bit more promising too.

Hopefully those lads will be ok to play i have to say there is a lot of talent in that team most u21 again next year ...one other player that impresses me is Sean O Donoughue teak tough a fine hurler as well a bit of Damien Cahalane about him i like him ...a brillant footballer as well..they could do with him too !
