So Bob will be interviewing Frank and Frank interviewing Bob for their respective jobs??

You actually couldn't make this up...and its likely to happen!

No, Croke Park will be in charge of both replacements.

Bob Ryan could go for the Rúnaí, but he wasn't offered an extension of his contract as Stadium Manager, so I think we can safely deduce that he would not be appointed RúnaÍ by Croke Park.

There is nothing stopping Frank Murphy in applying for the Stadium Manager gig, of course, but again that's Croke Park's call. This job will have to advertised as well, and it will be interesting to see what applicants will be attracted to it.

Thanks for that Pods.

There's so much potential for Pairc Uí Chaoimh IMO. A massive part of that potential though is opening to other sports. If Munster were to make a Euro semi final or a big game for Cork City in Europe could see some of that potential realised.

Also after the success of the Ed Sheeran concerts we'll hopefully see a few more on that scale too.

I'm hearing of alleged massive electrical problems down the Páirc. Problems that will entail ripping out large amounts of it and massive costs. Also did someone say that the manager has stepped down?

Surely if that was true, BC, it would have appeared on the papers. Perhaps someone is making a mountain out of a molehill?

Heard from a delegate friend of mine that apparently the talk around PUC is that they haven't been able to find a suitable candidate to replace Frank.
Hands up who's surprised.

What about Diarmuid O'Donovan who's been, more or less, doing Frank's job while Frank was concentrating on the stadium?

Anyway there is no need for a Frank clone. They just need someone to become secretary of the Cork County Board. How hard is that? Plenty of qualified people I would imagine.

Exactly. Just give it to the best qualified person and no crap about we can't find anyone so Frank must stay on.

On a related topic, the "retired" Pearse Murphy is still appearing in CCB photos. The latest it's the launch of the Gaa draw last night. Lo and behold, Pearse is in charge of it. Ha ha
