I heard Bill Cooper didn't participate in training last night, hopefully it's just precautionary. They're hopeful he will be OK to do a full session on Friday night before team announcement. It Is a groin injury but not too sure how bad it is. The backroom team are confident it will be cleared up by the weekend.

God I hope you're right and its only precautionary. Cooper is vital to the team.

Any word on what the team might be? Cant see them making any unforced changes.

I haven't heard but id start with a winning team, same as last day. I think we now have fellas to bring in after 1 minute if needed. Full back line dodgy at time but not the line to reconstruct going up to Ennis for what is a dodgy venue against a in your face Clare crowd roaring and shouting at everything, Small bit nervous I admit. As always itll come down to our attitude, we have their sign

Bill Cooper will be fit for Sunday. I heard if Cork get over this game, 5 or 6 players will be taking a week's break to get over the niggles and minor injuries they have. I agree it will all depend on the attitude and aptitude we start the game. In the modern game any lapse in concentration and the opposition can put up a winning score that could make it very tough to reel in

Anyone else worried about Sunday and results in both games going against us? Have a bad feeling all week. . I haven't seen a team get lambasted by their own supporters, media and past players as much as Clare have this week and I'm just expecting a massive reaction in their own back yard. I'm been very negative, I know, I don't think this Cork team are far off and should have more faith in them but I hate these once off games where the opposition have so much to prove.

Don't think any Cork supporter has been fully confident of winning a game since the naughties!! We all know at this stage anything can happen in a game of hurling, an early/late goal, a red card, an unknown player playing a blinder and turning the game! All parcel of the highs and lows of being a Cork supporter. There might be a backlash from Clare or they might roll over we won't know till Sunday! But Cork have had Clares number since '13 and this is probably the best Cork team/panel since then so if they don't have a melt down and even if Clare hurl a good game they should come away with the points. A good start to rattle Clares confidence and their supporters be great.
