That's a tough league. We'll be doing well to stay up I feel.

Can only make out the headline from a pic on Twitter but according to the sport section of the Southern Star former Wexford and Kildare manager, Jason Ryan, is tipped to join the Cork management team.

Ryan oversaw successive relegations with Kildare (Div 1 to Div 3). They made their way straight back to Div 1 after he resigned. His side also shipped seven goals to Kerry in AI q/final (after beating us). Not overly inspiring but at least McCarthy is trying to freshen things up. Ryan does seem to be well regarded though and making an AI semi final with Wexford was a great achievement, but that's ten years ago.

So it looks like Ronan McCarthy has finaly copped that you cant be Manager and Coach and do everything yourself mind you he should have know that after all he was in with Cuthbert before ….we now have two new coaches that is if Ryan is on board Eddie Kirwan and Jason Ryan.

So he's the manger, not the coach. Wasn't it Ger Lane that said that Cork appointed a coach, not a manager. Remember that crap?

Thats a savage league schedule for a panel of players not exactly brimming with battling qualities and a management team who didnt inspire anything this year............

We've drawn Tipp the last 4 years in a semi final, we're surely due a break from them
