Ciarmhac Smyth is Seadnaidh Smyth’s brother. Curiously they both play in the same position.

I heard tonight that Thurles give out scholarships to players who are judged future Tipperary players. No ordinary school can hope to compete with that. I have heard of other schools doing it, notably CBC in Cork. Eventually, I suppose, it will be: if you can't beat them, you have to join them.

This is good news and Cork have a strong hand in the quarters, all 3 won their group did they?
That's a mighty impressive scoreline for Christians against Thurles, I believe both were through anyway but still. Is Donal O'Mahony over them?
