Gabriel Rangers 0 -16 vs 0-15 Dromtarriffe

Knocknagree gave Milstreet some hammering, 3-21 to 1-8 I think it was.

Final is Gabriel Rangers v Knocknagree. If I remember correctly they went to a reply in the junior semi final a few years back. Both clubs are going up Premier Intermediate next year.
Whats interesting here is that the 4 semi finalists have won 4 of the last 5 junior counties so there's obvious momentum there if you win it - clubs on the up it appears

Well lads, does anyone have a report on the IFC Final?? Sounds as though gabriels were actually very unlucky??
Big win for Kilshannig today : 0-22 0-11 against St James. Totally outclassed St James. Killian O'Hanlon and Kieran Twomey outstanding. These boys will win more counties in years to come as they are very young, physical and have plenty football. They also missed a glut of chances. Some year for St James in fairness; James O'Driscoll in midfield is a fine player even if he was under pressure today; I'm not sure these boys will be back due to age profile. Here is the grade for next year:

1. Kilshannig
2. Droumtarriffe
3. Rockchapel
4. Ballinora
5. Aghabullogue
6. Kildorrery
7. Glanmire
8. Glenville
9. Glanworth
10. Mayfield
11. Millstreet
12. Ballydesmond
13. St Finbarr's
14. Adrigole
15. Kinsale
16. Mitchelstown

I think there's no question but the grade is far more interesting now than it has been in years. There is no outstanding team left, there always was a cill na matra, knocknagree or an eire og. For me Mitchelstown will run it close if they can get there act together. Aghabullogue and Kilshannig will not be far away. Any thoughts?

Looking at junior winners in the past 5 years, they have an excellent record jumping up into intermediate so I would expect Kilshannig to do very well, they flying at u21 as well

Jesus, just had a look there, they're in the 'A' semi final after beating douglas. Tbh, looking at them today they have no older players. I wonder what the overlap is? :o
