So lads who play Senior are allowed to play this grade in hurling but not in football?

Best of luck to the young rebels this evening! Bringing a few yanks to see their first game, anybody know the price of a ticket into Pairc Uí Rinn tonight!?

Cork 1-20, Limerick 0-16. Actually made hard work of this but finished strong. The full forward O'Regan sounded like he caused problems all through.

Cork were the better team throughout the game but were guilty of some very bad wides. They couldn't put a Limerick away until the closing minutes. Although Cork were the bigger team Limerick were very physical and were laying into cork off the ball all night and went unpunished. Thought Corks full back line played well, with Con O Callaghan having a great game. Millerick done well when came on and. O'Connell and O'Regan had great game. O'Regan caught a world of ball even with the sun on his eyes. Turnbull had his man in a world of trouble all night. Downy played well put giving his height advantage at this age I'd have thought he'd catch more ball. Sheehan was quiet, set up the goal but was called ashore soon after. (should of been longer out on the wing)

A word on the ref. Was very poor tonight. Cork couldn't buy a free and limerick got away with some off tye ball stuff all night. As well as very soft frees to keep them in it. Overall a very good squad of hurlers. But I'd fear Ring won't get the best out of them and they will be mismanaged.

Seeing Brian Turnbull back to his old self worth the entrance fee alone, oozes with class.
Is Evan Sheehan ( another class act ) not fully fit !

These were the two I hoped to see on the senior panel this year.

Although Sheehan's progress has seemed to flatline over the last 12 months. Injuries haven't helped either player.
