I don't agree with the two tier system in hurling, either. Has the GAA asked the so-called lesser counties if they agree with what's being done?

Would be well suited to the new advanced mark. Always had good leap especially from a standing position.

League fixtures released last night.

Offaly (h), Leitrim (a), Down (h), Tipperary (a), Louth (h), Longford (a), Derry (h).

Fairly favourable fixtures, 4 at home, 3 away. On paper you would think our toughest games will be against Derry and Down and importantly we have both at home. Hard to know where Tipp are at. At the same time we have no right to think we can turn up and walk this league. Still have question marks around us.

A very important league this year, failure to get promoted will be disastrous with the knock-on effect it will have on the championship leaving little room for experimentation.

That's all over the shop and is out of date. Look at Stephen Cronin in the forwards for instance. Check back in 6 weeks time
