That's my thinking, too. However if any team can mess it up, Limerick are that team. And no doubt Kilkenny will be ferocious.

Clare have far better players than Wexford, with the exception of Lee Chin. And, as he did with Waterford and Ken McGrath, Davy takes Chin out his best and most valuable position at centre-back. Davy sees things no one else does.

Clare have released the same team that started the Munster Final, although on Clare Hurlers they're doubtful if this team will start. However for Clare, the Davy Factor should be enough.

Clare leading at half time by 19 points to 9 points.

Clare very good with a few wild shots, Wexford poor, their sweeper not working at all as Clare put pinpoint passes to the corners.

Full time

Clare 0-27; Wexford 1-17

Clare relaxed in the second half, allowing Wexford to come back into it. At one stage there was only 3 points between them, but Wexford could not pull that back and Clare pulled away again near the end.

Some good hurling and some headless hurling. Most of the good hurling was from Clare.

Half Time

Limerick 0-15; Kilkenny 0-12

Kilkenny handling of the ball very good, Limerick high fielding excellent. Limerick wasted a few early chances by going for goals and Kilkenny built an early lead. Since then, Limerick have had three chances of goals. The KK goalie blocked two over the bar and cut off the pass for the third. All-Star goalkeeper for sure.

Final score

Limerick 0-27; Kilkenny 1-22

So Limerick it is for Cork!

Hurling won out on the day, although the weather nearly ruined it.

Always felt kk would get a goal and pull it back but Limerick were in control of the game. Big ask now for Cork, they will be full of confidence and thinking they should of bet us with 15 men in Munster. Massive game, two good young teams.

Take the game by the scruff of the neck and get to a final. No excuses this time.

A Leinster team didn't even win the Leinster title - for the second year in a row!
