Tipperary do look formidable. The most impressive thing about them is that they play for the entire game; no taking a breather and letting the other team get back into it, so anyone who wants to beat them will have to do the same.

Clare matched them for about 20 minutes, but once the goal went in, they blinked and you can’t blink against this Tipperary team.

They are now probably favorites for the All-Ireland.

Good entertainment in the Galway/Kilkenny match, Galway winning by a point.

Two Kilkenny players and one Galway player sent off.

Brian Cody a full yard inside the line all during the game. I can't understand why the referee allows this. It should be "if you can't stay outside the line then you go to the stand." That wouldn't be long sorting it.

4 changes and still a string team. Springing Lynch, Mulcahy and Hegarty from the bench is some options. Kiely mustn't be too pushed bout making a munster final. If they do grand but will settle for third also.

I don't get it. Is Kiely presuming Cork bate Clare therefore Limerick will finish 3rd?

It's a strange one alright. He's a shrewd operator tho so he must have some idea going.

Poor offaly relegated to the Joe McDonagh. The future looks bleak for a once proud hurling county. The powers that be really need to step in here and find a solution. No expense should be spared to kick start the hurling here again. Just like they spent in Dublin. Listening to Cheddar Plunkett on GAA hour he spoke of millions they poured into Dublin over the years and are slowly reaping the awards. Its sad to see. Fair play to Buff Egan who covered the game once again!
